Are all Filipinos bad drivers? It could just be me. I hate that I live up to the Asian sterotype, but I will be the first to admit I’m not the greatest behind the wheel. My parking skills could be much better too. I drive alot now and im not the person everyone jumps to drive with. And for some reason I always get sleepy when I’m in the passenger seat. I think it goes back to my family vacations. We would literally drive everywhere. Kentucky, Florida, Canada, pa, s carolina. And weekends were filled with family events throughout the tri state. I think it was easier for my parents to encourage us to sleep than talk, talk, talk during these rides!

Today, I literally can sleep in a 20 minute car ride home from grocery shopping. Only if in the passenger side Of course. If you haven’t guessed it by now, my husband prefers to drive whenever we are together.

Plus, couple my bad driving with my love of sad love songs and broadway show tunes, and you will understand why I’m not the most popular driver. But I am going to get better…just need to stop singing and pay attention!
