Mabuhay.

Over a rainy Saturday afternoon, two Filipinos bonded over the uniqueness of our Filipino culture.  The quirky and weird, the endearing and touching.  After hours of debating everything that is so uniquely Filipino, the concept of the blog was born.  Now, not many people may be reading this or care.  But for us, its a way to bond, laugh and recall all the reasons why we love being Filipino.

We connect over stories, memories and idiosyncrasies.

While we both grew up in different places and had two different lives, it is our culture and shared experiences that bring us closer.  And its our hope that this blog helps people learn not only about us, but about the views of two Filipinos, and maybe encourage people to learn more about themselves and others.

While there are two main contributors, we have often asked our friends and partners to contribute. So you’ll find a few other views and stories shared by those we respect and love.

Note that the views and stories we write about are solely our own based on our opinions, experiences and history.  We are not generalizing our people, but more so talking about our own personal lives.
